The excellent location just across Taipei Main Station ( also linked underground) is the main advantage of this hotel. Quite a big hotel & the various front office staff we encountered were very friendly & warm. Room is very spacious & clean. Bed was reasonably comfortable. However, you can just see, feel & smell the "distinct oldness" of the room & building. Although clean, the room were little on dark side. Carpet were very dark & stained. Aircon not cold & fan very noisy ( air vent dropping off slightly). Toilet bowl & bathtub discolored ( yellowish instead of white) & toilet door wood chipped off badly. Basin taps mixer is a very old 2 separate taps mix type instead of single mixer. Shower heat were inconsistent & need to adjust often. From our windows, could see full side of hotel walls were very dirty & in need of painting. The main door handles were shaky & loose. Even from main road, you could see how bad the walls condition are on left side. Definitely an overhaul is badly needed. If not for the location, would not have stayed here. But definitely not again, after this experience.

My stay at the Caesar Park Taipei had a mixed experience. The check-in was marred by an inexperienced staff member who initially misinformed about a power supply disruption, causing some inconvenience. All the lifts were not functioning at the time of my check out at 5.30 am, even though I was assured it would not to be the case. However, the manager later clarified the situation. During my stay, I overheard staff quarreling at the check-in counter, which was unprofessional. The room had issues like poor TV resolution, stained windows, and outdated access controls. The absence of a master switch at the bedside was inconvenient. On a positive note, the room was clean, and the location provided easy access to eateries. Two direct lifts made it convenient to reach the mall and MRT without navigating Taipei Main station. The hotel lacks room service, but there's a self-service laundry room, a rooftop garden with a great view, and a small gym. The Starbucks outlet, apparently run by the hotel, had lackluster service. Discounts for hotel guests were not offered proactively. Overall, Caesar Park Taipei is a 5-star hotel with potential for improvement, particularly in customer interaction.

Excellent location, just above the Taipei main station (train, metro). Friendly and helpful concierge. Conveniently located near convenience stores, eateries, restaurants and malls. Can easily take the metro to Raohe Night Market or Shilin Night Market (2 of the nearest ones). Very near Ximending as well.

We stayed 2 nights in a quad room with 2 queen beds for 3 people. Room size was standard, with plenty of space for all our luggage (3 medium size check-in, 1 large size check-in, plus more). This hotel was our last stop in Taipei before going to the airport. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We utilized the hotel to store our bags both before and after check-in with no issue. Hotel lobby appears nice with plenty of sitting for guests. Our room however appears old but relatively well-maintained, except for the top corner of a wall with wallpaper peeling off for some reason. Beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. Hotel has its own exit (M6) from Taipei Main Station that connects from their basement (where there are several restaurants and shops) with an elevator to the hotel lobby. Lots of other shops and restaurants near the hotel, and a shopping mall next to the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our room, but we did walk-in to try their buffet breakfast one morning, as we were told the day before that reservation wasn't required. I suggest going early (maybe before 7.30am) as they did get crowded due to a tour group when we were there, and we saw some guests waiting at the front for a table. No problem with this hotel, and I do recommend for its location.

Location is excellemt, central area, very convenient. Staff service great immediate response from all of my requests BUT they do need to be more fluent in English. Hotel is old, new rooms better maintained. Would love to give a 5 stars but hotel needs to go and renovate fully. Staff need to be fluent in English.
